Devil
Italian house of women’s high fashion, established in Milan in 1958 by Luisa and Enrica De Vecchi, later helped by their sister Angela. It was created with a very elite market segment in mind. Twice a year, but without participating in official events, the firm presents its hand-cut and hand-sewn styles, for which buttons and accessories are expressly designed and manufactured. All the pieces are obviously in limited production. Despite the success of Italian prêt-à-porter, which completely changed the industry, the firm, with headquarters in via Bigli, in the space that once belonged to the historic art gallery Il Milione, has held on, without advertising or a distribution network, by following a careful niche strategy based on extremely high-quality tailoring.
