A collection by the French designerDelphine Murat is a French fashion designer. She attended the Berçot Studio from 1995 to 1997 and, immediately after graduating, she collaborated with major fashion houses. First with Alexander McQueen when she was at Givenchy then with Martine Sitbon and Thierry Mugler for haute couture.
Delphine Murat inspired by Yves Saint Laurent, Alaia, Mugler and Alexander McQueen focused on an architectural, yet comfortable cut of clothes, shaping the body of women. She founded Delphine Murat Trademark with Laurent Murat, her brother.
In 1999, she was offered an interior decoration project in Lisbon and she moved there for some time. But fashion is her passion. In 2000 she returned to Paris and worked on her first fashion show for the women’s ready to wear fashion week. Others followed until the consecration of Delphine as a young talent.
Expert in traditional couture tailoring, in 2008 she launched the Sport Line, while in 2013 she started working in the couture tech sport design sector. She likes to combine fashion and technicality, creating captivating and new products on the market.
She has been the owner of the company DM Design USA since 2018.
