Cotton Belt

Italian manufacturing brand. It is located in Osmannoro di Sesto Fiorentino (Tuscany). It was intuition that allowed Fiorenzo Fratini to become, during the 1950s, one of the first importers of jeans from the U.S. That same intuition suggested to Corrado and Marcello, Fiorenzo’s sons and founders in 1973 of EuroComar, that they create a partnership with the American company Cotton Belt and expand the marketing to a more and more complete range of clothes and accessories.
EuroComar, which belongs to Fingen Apparel, in Tuscany, and is owner of the Cotton Belt brand, has given it under license for 10 years to the Piedmont company Mistral, which already produces the Brooksfield line. Starting with Spring-Summer 2004, Mistral is to produce and market the men’s, women’s, sportswear, and jeans lines within the European Union.
