Corona

Vittorio Corona (1947). Italian journalist. He was the director of Moda. A graduate in history and philosophy from the University of Catania, he worked since high school with the newspaper La Sicilia. After obtaining his degree, he moved to Milan and Rizzoli Publishing. It was the 1970s. In 1975, he became deputy director of Annabella. In 1981-1982, still at Rizzoli, he was editor of the section “New Products.” His first project was the new magazine Amica, which came out in 1982. Corona was deputy director. In 1983, for Eri-Rai Publishing and together with Flavio Lucchini, he created Moda, a women’s monthly of which he was in charge for 100 issues. Moda was also the title of a RAI-TV program broadcast for five years under his direction. In 1988, still for Eri, he designed King, a men’s monthly that he directed for 50 issues. In 1993, he left the world of periodicals and joined Fininvest, where he contributed to the creation of Studio Aperto, the news program of the Italia 1 TV network, which he produced for some twenty days, until the announcement of his publisher Silvio Berlusconi’s début in politics. In 1994, he became deputy director of the newspaper La Voce, under the executive director Indro Montanelli. Between 1996 and 1997 he created and directed the trendy magazine Village. Then he devoted himself to conceiving and producing programs on news and social customs for the RAI and Telemontecarlo TV networks. At present, he is the head of a new company, Corona Productions, which creates initiatives for TV and the press.
