Canulli

Stefano Canulli (1959). Italian designer, born in Rome. He works with Lancetti, Valentino, and Capucci. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, he also took courses in photography and advertising. By the age of 20 he was already at the side of Pino Lancetti, working on high fashion Collections. The partnership would last until 1982. Given the job of illustrating the historical archives of Capucci, he worked with the great designer until 1986. From 1989 to 1991 he designed for Thierry Mugler. He createed several advertising campaigns, including those for Valentino Haut Couture, Bruno Piattelli, and Chiara Boni. In 1994 the Museum of Modern Art in New York showed his sketches as part of an exhibit about the Italian shoe.
