Boselli

Pier Luigi Boselli (1929) was a a journalist and a former director of the women’s weekly Grazia. His management experience began in 1966 at Confidenze, the historic women’s weekly published by Mondadori. During the four years of his regime, the magazine went through a period of renovation and relaunch, thanks especially to promotional initiatives which caused a rise in circulation. In March 1970, Mondadori put him in charge of Grazia, where he remained for four years. His place was then taken by Nando Sampietro. In April 1974 he was again in charge of a Mondadori weekly, the newborn Guida TV, which opened with a cover dedicated to Mike Bongiorno and a circulation of 1,000,000 copies. But things didn’t go well, and a few months later Boselli left his position, to be succeeded by Arrigo Polillo. He worked at Il Giornale and is a member of the jury for the Premiolino award, of which he was one of the founders.
