Bombana

Manufacturer of stockings. The first factory was established in 1966, but it was during the 1980s that the hosiery factory Franco Bombana became successful in Italy and abroad. It produces mainly for export: 70% of production is absorbed by Northern and Eastern Europe, by the rest of the European Union, and the Middle East.
&Quad;2003, April. Calzedonia acquires 20% of Franco Bombana. As a result of the agreement, Bombana begins to produce stockings for women and girls to be distributed in the shops of the Veronese company, using its technological and design experience for the benefit of the product. Calzedonia’s percentage of ownership will increase over time, even if Bombana continues to offer products under its own brand.
