Douglas (1958). Canadian designer. He started in the world of fashion by attending the International Academy of Merchandising and Design of Toronto. After graduation, he moved to Europe to test the field. Once in Paris, he obtained his first job, as an assistant designer at Dior. He then moved to Italy and worked for three years in the design studio of Enrico Coveri. At the end of this period in his professional life, he became a freelance consultant for various Italian and German companies, among them Gherardini and Caren Pfleger. Today, after his latest collaboration with the Rena Lange Group of Munich as chief designer for the accessories lines and supervisor of the creative staff for prêt-à-porter, he decided to put his experience to good use designing his own Collection. The dresses are manufactured by Lesina in Padua, while the knitwear is made by Elkay in Monza. He designs for the practical woman, one who likes a simple style of dressing.
