Alain Lalonde (1913-1974). Textile entrepreneur in Paris. He took over the family company in 1958. He reorganized it and started alliances with new, young designers whom he discovered and maintained with his money, for example, Emmanuelle Khanh, Christiane Bailly, and Daniel Hechter in 1965. The company closed on the death of the owner.
