Young Fashion Award

Italian competition for young designers first started in 2001. Organized by Moet & Chandon and the Italian National Chamber of Fashion, the Young Fashion Award allows the best pupils from six Italian fashion schools, selected by a jury of fashion experts, to show their own designs on the runway. The six chosen pupils, one from each school, can then proceed to the final phase of the competition: a runway show during Milan women’s Fashion Week in September. At the end of the show the overall winner for the year is announced, who is then given the chance to work for one of the big Italian designers for six months.
