THE MULTINATIONAL ZIP COMPANY

YKK is a leading multinational manufacturer of zips. It was founded by the Japanese Tadao Yoshida in the 1930s, and “churns out” over 2 million kilometres of zips a year selling them in 71 countries. Yoshida left his heirs, along with a colossal fortune, a not very practiced entrepreneurial philosophy: prosperity depends on the ability to create wealth for others. Hence, for example, much attention to the working environment. Moreover, the company also has three factories in Italy.
