History and development of the brand

The history of the ViCOLO brand begins in 1968 with a line of knitwear, characterized by a 100% Made in Italy production.

ViCOLO is developed and distributed on the national and international market by the Italian company GGZ. In addition to Vicolo, the Paduan company GGZ is also the owner of the Solotre womenswear brand.

Founded in 1968 in Pozzonovo (PD), GZZ achieves a turnover of approximately 40 million euros, 70% in Italy and 30% abroad. With the vicolo brand, the company is present with three flagship stores in Padua, Treviso and Forte dei Marmi.

In 2019 GGZ launched the Vicolo Girl line, entrusting Marbel, an Apulian company specializing in children’s fashion, with the production and distribution of its first collection dedicated to girls from 4 to 16 years of age.
