Venturi

Maria Venturi (1933). Journalist and author. She was the editor of Annabella. Previously the editor-in-chief of Novella 2000, in 1983 she took over as editor of Annabella. Under her leadership, the Rizzoli weekly underwent an adjustment of content that moved it toward a larger audience, while still maintaining the traditional target composed of women aged 25 to 44. After she left Annabella, she became an author of romance novels, genuine bestsellers. The most recent one was La donna per legare il sole (Rizzoli, 1999).
