Uniform

Ready-to-wear label, the brainchild of Roger Lee and Lesley Sealey, both born in 1972. Roger graduated in fashion design from Kingston University and went on to specialize in women’s clothing through a Master’s degree at the Royal College of Art in London. Lesley took a degree in textile design at Nottingham University and a diploma in multimedia textiles at the Royal College of Art. Previously, Roger had worked with Karl Lagerfeld and Lesley in India. They created their label Uniform with a women’s collection for Fall-Winter 1998-99, and for two seasons they received the British Fashion Council’s New Generation sponsorship. Their collections stand out for their use of traditional materials treated in an unusual way.
