British shoe manufacturer founded by master shoemaker Joseph Tricker in 1829, in Northampton. The production of the classic models in calfskin, with treated oak bark soles, is still solidly in the hands of the family heirs, now in the fifth generation. In the London shop in St. James’ the custom department is still at work. More recently opened points of sale are the second London shop in Newgate Street and the shop in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
