Swinger International
Italian firm of ready-to-wear fashion. It was founded in Verona in the early 1970s by the Facchini family. It mainly produces and markets denim and casual wear for men and women. The company caught the attention of the public and fashion world with its own Swinger brand when it was the first to create Denim Fashion. Since the mid-1980s, it has combined its know-how, industrial capabilities, and the quality and talents of the company’s own tailors with the creativity of important designers. It is in this vein that the first collaboration was signed in 1988 with Rocco Barocco, and continued with Fendi, Ungaro, Laura Biagiotti, Mila Schön, and Vivienne Westwood. The constant development of the company was given a new boost in September 2001, when it moved to new premises in Bussolengo (Verona). In April 2002, Swinger took over Byblos. The company’s chairman is Dino Facchini, who was joined a few years ago by his son as managing director.
