SENSITIVITY TO CANCER RESEARCH

The company has twelve flagship shops in the United States and the same number worldwide, and its headquarters are in New York. His million-dollar shoe is famous: a jewel sandal made of platinum and 64 carats of diamonds worn by Laura Harring during the 2002 Oscar ceremony, the value of which was then donated to charity, a subject to which Weitzman is particularly sensitive: every year he organises an event in favour of research against breast cancer. He sends the stars a model in white satin and stiletto heels which they paint, decorate or simply sign. Then he puts them up for auction.

On the same site it is also possible to view and buy the line of handbags. In the summer of 2003, a new flagship store was opened at Columbus Circus in New York. Weitzman shoes are distributed in 57 countries around the world through 24 boutiques and flagship shops, and are present in Italy with 85 shops.
