Slowear’s roots begin in Venice in 1951: an industrial history made up of skills and passion that matured more than half a century ago, which is also the inspiration for creating new paradigms, a sort of rebirth of the way we conceive the art of manufacturing and how can inspire new generations in its approach to consumption.

Slowear consists of four individual brands: Incotex, for trousers;  Zanone, for knitwear; Montedoro, for outerwear; and Glanshirt, for shirts. Don’t think of it as a vertically integrated company, but rather as an association of like-minded people. Each brand maintains its industrial and production autonomy unchanged to guarantee the best products of high-quality products.

First of all, the first store in Chicago officially opened on 12 October. Located in the West Loop, the 110 square meter space offers a wide variety of products from the group’s brands, as well as a selection of books, cosmetics, and other lifestyle products. Furthermore, by the beginning of 2021, two new stores will open their doors in New York City, specifically in Brooklyn and in the West Village of Manhattan, in addition to the flagship store on Prince Street, while by 2023 Slowear will also move to the west coast, with openings planned in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

In Europe, the focus will be on the German market, where the Hamburg store was launched at the beginning of October and other new openings in Dusseldorf and Berlin, among others, are planned for the next three years.

“In the light of the positive development of our current 30 stores, despite the difficult and uncertain times, we have decided to accelerate our retail project – declared the CEO of the group Roberto Compagno -. We will also focus on an integrated development of our digital platform, slowear.com, with physical stores in an omnichannel perspective”.

The smart casual clothing company from Veneto, which controls the Incotex, Zanone, Glanshirt, and Montedoro brands, recorded 50 million euros in revenue in 2018.
