Design Inspiration:
-
Textural Innovation: One of the standout features of the collection was its rich textural variety. Marziali used a mix of chunky and fine knits, creating a tactile experience that added depth to each garment. The use of ribbing, cabling, and intricate stitch patterns highlighted her expertise in knitwear design.
-
Bold Patterns: The collection featured bold, graphic patterns that drew the eye and added a modern edge to traditional knitwear. Geometric shapes and abstract motifs were used to great effect, creating visually compelling pieces that stood out on the runway.
-
Color Palette: The color palette for FW22 was both sophisticated and vibrant. It included a range of earthy tones such as deep greens, rich browns, and muted grays, juxtaposed with pops of brighter hues like vibrant reds, bold blues, and sunny yellows. This combination created a balanced yet dynamic visual impact.
-
Silhouette Play: Marziali experimented with silhouettes, offering everything from oversized sweaters and relaxed cardigans to more fitted dresses and structured coats. This diversity allowed for a versatile collection that catered to various styles and body types.
-
Sustainability: Staying true to her commitment to sustainability, Marziali ensured that the FW22 collection was produced using eco-friendly materials and ethical manufacturing practices. This focus on sustainability added an extra layer of appeal to the collection, resonating with conscious consumers.
