Shrimpton

Jean. English model. 1.75m tall and with green eyes, she was known by her nickname “Shrimp.” In the 1960s she was considered the most beautiful woman in the world, and the one most in tune with the fashions and lifestyle of Swinging London. She married David Bailey, who photographed her for Vogue, thus launching her career. A second marriage to the actor Terence Stamp inspired the plot of Michelangelo Antonioni’s film Blow-Up (1966). After having had a child, she withdrew from fashion and opened a hotel in Cornwall.
