Sacchetti Enrico

Sacchetti Enrico (1877-1967). Italian illustrator and poster designer. For Lidel and French women’s magazines, he recorded the fashions of the 1920s and 1930s in a non-calligraphic style and with an ability to capture the essence of a design. He worked for La Nuova Antologia, Il Secolo XX, and L’Illustrazione Italiana. In 1929-1930, he designed the cover and plates of the novel by Orio Vergani Io, povero negro [Poor Negro] that has been translated into many languages.
