Amina Rubinacci: Neapolitan Seamstress, Master of Knitwear
Amina Rubinacci a Neapolitan dressmaker and owns an atelier in Via dei Mille. She started her business in 1967. A master of knitwear, she interprets it with a colourful palette and extreme meticulousness of execution, a sartorial perfectionism that is in her blood. In fact, she is the daughter and sister of an artist. Her father Gennaro, known as Bebè, was one of Italy’s great men’s tailors. He dressed Umberto di Savoia, Vittorio De Sica, Eduardo De Filippo and Curzio Malaparte. His brother Mariano nobly continues the family tradition.
