Patricia Roberts

Patricia Roberts (1945) is an English designer of colourful knitwear, cardigans and jumpers. After graduating from Leicester College of Art, in 1967 she started working in the knitwear department of the Ipc department store in London. Five years later, she set up her own business. The attention of Vogue opened the way to boutiques where she would show up with a suitcase of her handmade jumpers. Her first shop was in 1976. She opened two more in 1979 and 1982.
