VERICA RAKOCEVIC (1948) IS A SERBIAN HAUTE COUTURE DESIGNER
Verica Rakocevic was born in Belgrade. Her collections are inspired by the traditions of her homeland. She proposes ethnic coats made of coloured wool, jackets with typical embroidery and skirts studded with pearls that recall folk costumes. After studying engineering, she opened her own atelier in Belgrade. Recently, she took part in a fashion show in Los Angeles with Sharon Stone and Kevin Costner as testimonials. On more than one occasion she has participated in the Rome Haute Couture week.
