Stéphane Plassier defines himself as a “tailor-decorator”

Stéphane (1965). French designer and ready-to-wear label. Original and multi-talented, he describes himself as a “dressmaker-decorator.” His creativity has been unleashed in many different fields: fashion, graphic design, advertising, decoration, theater, and cinema.

He held his first runway show in 1983 and had his second show with the Groupe des Halles in Fall the same year. His brides are always spectacularly nonconformist, appearing on the runway dressed in sugar and chocolate, in cage-dresses filled with fluttering birds, or dresses decorated with fresh flowers, shells, and fishes.

He dressed the actress Bernadette Lafont in two movies by Jean Pierre Mocky in 1987 and 1988.
2002. Plassier created a range of chinaware for Raynaud. His plates and vases are sold in the house boutique.
