Pinocchietto

Recent term used to refer to capri pants, very widespread in the 1950s not only on the island of Capri but in all the most fashionable holiday destinations. Brigitte Bardot often wore them in Saint-Tropez and was copied by all the young girls of the time. Short and fitted, they end just under the knee, with a slit at the hem. They became popular again at the end of the 1990s, in hi-tech and stretch fabrics. Prada launched a casual style which has been a resounding success.
