Pallotti

Mirella (1946). Journalist. She was editor of Anna magazine. She was one of the main protagonists of women’s magazine publishing in the 1970s and 1980s. She worked on Europeo and Tempo, and in 1971 joined Panorama. After a stint in the Fiat press office she was employed by Grazia in 1973, where she stayed until 1978, when Pietroni asks her to join the new weekly Insieme, of which she was editor from 1980 to 1984. This is when her career really began as an editor specialized in restyling and revamping troubled titles. In 1984 she transformed Duepiù into Donnapiù, and in 1987 Bella into Più Bella. In 1990 she re-launched Annabella as Anna, of which she remained editor until 1997.
