Next G+U. R.+U Now
Next G+U. R.+U Now, a German prêt-à-porter brand. At the start, the founders Uta Riechers and Martin Wuttke, who work in Berlin, proposed recycled, modified, and reassembled clothing. Then they changed direction to clothing designed for the techno music community. From 1995 onwards, they have won various fashion design prizes and presented their collections on runways in Düsseldorf, Paris, and London.
The brand today
Now they have own-brand stores in Berlin and cities across Germany. They also work freelance for various Japanese fashion houses. Both are involved in an important social project: involving individuals with mental disabilities in their production process. What does the long and complicated brand name stand for?
