MODA RIVISTA 1983
MODA is a monthly fashion and costume magazine
Moda is a monthly magazine of fashion and of “everything that makes costume, entertainment, culture”, as the subtitle states, which is an integral part of the masthead set up by Flavio Lucchini in 1983 and directed until the early 90s by Vittorio Corona. It was published by Nuova Eri, the Rai publishing house. The publication of the new monthly creates a great sensation, promoted with drumming advertising hype, aimed at a young and emancipated female audience. People like it for the innovative graphics, the disruptive use of photography and the ability to touch emerging themes among the new generations. The newspaper’s fortunes declined in the late 1980s, mainly due to editorial problems. For some time, the monthly got by in a state of creative and public crisis which would lead to a long dispute between editors and publisher. In 1993 Nuova Eri sold the magazine which, shortly after, closed.
