Mackie Bob (1940). Californian stylist, born in Los Angeles. A great enthusiast of feathers and sequins, he has worked a great deal for the television and theater.

Among his actress muses are Carol Burnett and Cher, who attended the 1986 Oscars wearing one of his dresses: covered with sequins and cut away at the stomach. In 1979 he published a book titled Dressing For Glamour and launched a pret-à-porter range in 1982.
