Mabkhout Wahb (1964).
Mabkhout is a Moroccan photographer. He’s got a dramatic but also elegant, sophisticated and provocative style. He was born in Casablanca (Morocco).
After studying science at high school in Morocco, he now lives and works in Paris, London, and Milan. He studied for a diploma in styling and modeling at the Marangoni Institute in Milan. In 1998 he began his career as a model, branching out into fashion photography at the beginning of the 1990s. His most important clients are Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferré, Sergio Rossi, and Exté. He was the wearer of Rome Gigli, Jean Paul Gaultier e Dolce & Gabbana. Of the last two designers he became an internal photographer for more than 8 years.
Working with talented photographers Wahb perfected his talent for photography. As a photographer, he achieved celebrity status after working for years with famous brands, as Alberta Ferretti, Gianfranco Ferrè and obviously Dolce & Gabbana.
He also works for Cosmopolitan America, the German edition of Amica, Vogue Italy, Marie Claire, and Max. He also published a book, Fashion Tribes, in June 1999.
In 2010, he moves in Los Angeles, turning his city in a new home for his photographs and the production of a new film.
