Luca Luca

Brand of women’s fashion founded in 1991 by the Milanese designer Luca Orlandi. His family has been in the textile business for generations. He moved to New York where he started an apprenticeship with the company Hero Group which produces for Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, and Oleg Cassini. He decided to start his own business and in 1992 opened his first boutique in Madison Avenue, Manhattan, now the address also of the company’s headquarters. He also opened other boutiques in Chicago, Palm Beach, Dallas, and Bal Harbour. In 2001 he became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. His collection, which is distributed in the United States and abroad, has expanded to include a sports line, shoes, and accessories. The symbol of Luca Luca’s style is the sophisticated femme fatale dressed in chiffon and leather.
