The fashion designer Javier Larrainzar

Javier Larrainzar (1969), Spanish designer, born in Madrid. He is one of the leading names in Iberian fashion.

He studied drawing at the Institute Marangoni in Milan and attended a Master’s course at the Domus Academy. In 1989 he moved to New York to work with Oscar de la Renta, where he remained for three years.

Once back in Madrid, he opened his own haute couture boutique and in 1993 made his début on the Pasarela Cibeles. He considers fashion as something functional and wants his clothes to be practical and easy to wear. His style is sober and elegant, his clothes last years and do not go out of fashion. Black-and-white are his favorite colors and trousers his best selling article.

The brand offers also a perfume line, with iconic fragrances like Azahr, Gardenia Exòtica, Bouquet Infinito.
