Kefiah

The fashionable connotation of this scarf, which represents the struggles of the Palestinian people (but also the participation in demonstrations by protesters and students), is connected to the long wave of multiethnic chic. Even though it does not represent a real triumph, its recurrent appearance on the catwalk attests the intention to ennoble the external look (read: fashion) with something more profound, updating an old piece of Eskimo philosophy with a touch of frivolity.
