Il Bisonte is a brand of high Florentine craftsmanship based in Tuscany. It produces bags and even leather accessories with a style free from the conventions of fashion and the seasonality of taste and the market. Founded in 1970 by Wanny di Filippo it has been managed by CEO Luigi Ceccon since 2019. It’s currently owned by Look Holdings Inc., the historic Japanese distributor of the brand, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The maison’s identity is based on authentic values, the result of a past rich in tradition, creativity in continuous dialogue with the present and a vision of the future in the name of environmental, social and commercial sustainability.

Present in four continents and in the most important international cities (Tokyo, Florence, Rome, Milan, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul), the brand is distributed in over 30 countries. In addition, there are 60 single-brand boutiques in the world, of which 49 are in Japan alone. The e-commerce platform ilbisonte.com is active in 54 countries.  All the laboratories of Il Bisonte are located within 30 km of Florence. This unrepeatable chain of excellence is the most authentic heir of the millennial history of Tuscan manufactures.

In 2019 the brand closed the year with 36 million revenues. 50% of the revenues was made in Japan (where Look Holdings manages 42 single-brand stores), 15% in Italy (there are four stores in Florence, Milan and two in Rome), 10% in Europe and the rest in Asia, Australia and the USA.
