Daniela (1973). Italian fashion designer. Born in Milan. In 1999 she was awarded the Infil Award, the prize for young underwear designers that created by Sponso for Infil, an Italian company leader of the sector. The award consists a scholarship for 5 million liras and an exhibition of the winning Collections at the International Conference for Parisian Lingerie in January 2000. In 1994 she graduated from the Marangoni Institute of Milan and started a long apprenticeship. After collaborating with two style consultancy firms, she worked as model maker in the artisan dressmaker’s workshop of Angela Piatti Zardin. From 1995 to the end of 1997, she was at the Reality of Gigi Monti-Basile (designer, graphic, fabric selector, sample controller, and casting agent for advertising campaigns). In February 1998 she worked as a freelancer (for the positioning of embroideries and materials on garments, her resume says) at Prada for the women’s Autumn-Winter Collection.
