A trip to Brazil becomes the initial source of inspiration for the designer who, fascinated by the colors of that land, its music and the effervescence and sinuosity of its women, decides to found the Fisico brand. Over the years she has managed to transform the classic concept of swimwear, transforming it into a glamorous and luxurious garment, so much so that for the first time beachwear is the protagonist of the most important catwalks, parading for the first time in Milano Collezioni .

THE DEBUT IN MILANO COLLEZIONI
In 1997, he made his debut in Milano Collezioni, presenting his models with the most important international models and prominent testimonials. In ’98, she proposed the pubikini which, due to its small size, caused a sensation. The collection is produced in Bergamo and distributed in Italy, France and Spain.
FORERUNNER OF INNOVATIONS
The brand offers creations where the stylist’s research and travel sensations stand out, but also the attention and attention to detail. Since the first models of the 90s, unique and refined lines have been denoted, with an elegant sex appeal, which has indelibly managed to mark the history of swimwear. Always ahead of the times, it was Fisico who proposed the adoption of microfiber, an absolute novelty in 90s beachwear. But it is also one of the first brands to introduce fabric doubling, with the elimination of external seams.
BEACHCOUTURE
After the “Classic” collections, which revisits the historical garments in a contemporary version, and the “Collection”, which presents the seasonal novelties, Fisico launches on the BeachCouture. It is a high-end line made up of lycra beachwear. Bikinis and one-piece swimsuits in microfibre with internal seams, able to adapt to different physicalities, are teeming with them. But there are also dresses embellished with elegant applications in precious crystals and refined workmanship.

TOWARDS PRET-À-PORTER
Fisico is becoming more and more consolidated in pret-à-porter fashion. They are glam – chic beachwear lines , which bring the style and essence of the brand directly to the beach. It is in fact a wide range of costumes , cover-ups, kaftans and dresses to wear both on the beach and in the city.
PHYSICAL IN THE NEW DECADE: BETWEEN GROWTH AND CHANGE
In 2016, Cristina Ferrari sold the Fisico brand to the company Olmar and Mirta SpA ., With which she collaborated for the realization of the Fisico collections, until 2019. In 2018, Giorgia Gabriele takes on the role of new creative director of the brand, to which Liliana Conti succeeds in 2019. The spring summer 2020 collection sees Liliana Conti as the new creative director.
For the SS 2021 collection Liliana proposed elements that intersect a more refined and elegant line with balanced cuts and rigorous proportions. Costumes and dresses that propose an impact ready-to-wear fashion, where bright colors and modern cuts are combined with Swarovski crystals and floral prints.
