Fedora

Traditional men’s hat made of soft felt with a deep center crease and two side creases, often with a grosgrain ribbon banding the crown. Worn mostly in the early 20th century, the fedora got its name from the play Fédora by Victorien Sardou, written in 1882. In popular culture, including film, television shows and comic strips, fedoras were often worn by crime-fighting detectives and newspapermen.
