Duster Coat

Duster coat, long overcoat from the neck to the ankles

The duster is a long but light overcoat from the neck to the ankles, usually made of gabardine or wool, or cotton canvas. It made its debut at the end of the 19th century when it was chosen by motorcyclists and the first reckless car drivers. The duster coat has abundant sleeves and a pronounced, high, buttoned neck, suitable for sheltering from the wind and rain. It was often accompanied by canvas caps with built-in goggles.
