Dosa

Dosa is a brand of women’s clothing created by the Korean designer Christina Kim. She is a singular example of the artisan-designer who rejects the classic circuit of Collections and personally follows the production of clothing in her studio-factory-shop in Los Angeles. Her clean lines, the preference for varieties of white in her silk and taffeta blouses, and her low-profile “Buddhist” approach to fashion have made her the favorite designer of actresses like Nicole Kidman and Cameron Diaz. An advocate of artisanal production, in February 2002 she was invited by Woodbury University in Burbank to give a lecture entitled Making by Hand.
