Patrick (1943). French photographer. Born in a small village near Paris, he spent his childhood and adolescence in Le Havre. At the age of 17, he began to fool around with his first camera. At 20, he moved to Paris, where he became a photographer, working first as an assistant to Hans Feurer, and then as a freelancer for Elle, Marie Claire, and other periodicals. In 1975, he moved to New York and immediately established himself professionally with work for Vogue, Glamour, Mademoiselle, GQ, and Rolling Stone. He did campaigns for Revlon, Chanel, and Calvin Klein. Since 1992, he has worked steadily for Harper’s Bazaar. In 1998 he published the monograph Forms.
