Delemazure

Corinne Delemazure (1954) was a french knitwear designer. She began designing underwear and bathing suits. In the early 1980s, Lanvin appointed her artistic director of knitwear for prêt-à-porter. She made her début under her own name in 1986 with very structured clothes that were devoid of softness except in the fabrics themselves. In those same years she designed a men’s line for the Charivari boutique in New York. She called it “Sans tambours ni trompettes,” a name she would later use for a women’s Collection. In 1991, she designed and produced a more affordable line. Since 1994 she has been the designer of the brand Des Prés Homme et Femme, which belongs to the Japanese group Tomorrowland.
