De Santis Dali

Brand of women’s wear created in 1998 through a partnership between Carmine De Santis, from Pontecagnano (Sa), and Mohammed Ali Moussa, from Tunis. De Santis attended the European Institute of Design. Moussa received a degree in chemistry and later studied fashion design at Esmod in Paris and at the Carlo Secoli Institute in Milan. After Moussa did some consulting, and De Santis worked in a women’s wear factory owned by his father, the two decided to design a prêt-à-porter Collection which would include a shop for both knitwear and tailoring. Their work combines two different cultures: the tailoring tradition of Campania and the minimalist spirit of North Africa.
