Cleo Romagnoli

Milliner in Rome. The shop was opened in 1937 on via Gregoriana by Cleopatra Costa (1913), using her nickname and her husband’s surname. During her career she made hats and hairdos for Lucia Bosé, Leonor Fini, Ava Gardner, and Evita PerÆn. During the 1950s, she worked with the emerging stars of Italian fashion such as Fabiani, Simonetta, and the Fontana sisters, and later with Barocco, Fendi, Lancetti, and Valentino.
