German women’s monthly founded in 1949 by Aenne Burda and published by Verlag Aenne Burda Gmbh & Co., in Offenburg. Its target is a public between 30 and 60 years old, illustrating Collections of high fashion, prêt-à-porter, and styles which can be made at home. In addition to fashion there are large sections dedicated to home activities, cosmetics, and cooking. With a circulation of 2 million copies, Burda International comes out four times a year, presenting high fashion and prêt-à-porter Collections of the entire world.
