Muguette. French model maker. A niece of Louis II of Bavaria, from 1922 to 1959 she worked with some of the greatest French tailoring shops: Poiret, Vionner, Patou, Augusta Bernard, and Mad Carpentier. She often worked with the sketcher Martiale Constantini (1904-1987). She left 15,000 outlines and sketches which her daughter Rosine donated to the Musée de la Mode et du Textile in Paris. From 1944 to 1949 she was in her own business, launching the brand Mug Deval.
