Bouyer

Jean Philippe (1959). French designer. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Paris, majoring in manufacturing techniques. In 1980 he became Lagerfeld’s assistant. He was later hired as a designer by the shoe company Charles Jourdan, where he would stay seven years. He worked with Muriel Grateau, Alaïa, and Tarlazzi. Then he returned to Jourdan to launch a clothing line which now sells 25,000 pieces each season.
