Bouché

René (1894-1963). French illustrator. He is considered to be the last representative of a great tradition that is forgotten because of photography: the use of drawing as a way to record fashion trends and the customs of high society. On his arrival in New York in 1941, he was hired by Vogue, where he would work until his death.
