Body Map

English brand of prêt-à-porter designed by Stevie Stewart (1958) and David Holah (1958), both graduates of Middlesex Politech. It was founded in 1982. The name Body Map is reflected in the unconventional creations of the two designers. These are made for young people: unstructured clothes worn in layers. Using mainly white, cream and black, the two designers aim to redefine the traditional body shape by covering it with different fabrics and prints. In 1983 they won an award during the Individual Clothes Show as the “most exiting and innovative young designers of the year.”
