Bernard Boutet de Monvel

Bernard Boutet de Monvel (1884-1949) was a French illustrator.

He is an innovator of drawing applied to fashion as a journalistic tool, less “photographic”, more interpretative and atmospheric. He has collaborated with La Gazette du bon ton, Monsieur, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue . His personal wardrobe sets trends in men’s fashion.
